This combination of texts presents a challenge to the toxic trend toward normalcy. In viewing one thing that connects every single human on this planet – the body – we can all learn to look at difference as valuable, the human condition as variable yet singular, and instead of fear of the other, comfort in the capriciousness of humanity.
